Pubs, Bars and Clubs

Krisis are a live cover band, with a warm and outgoing lead singer, a competent lead guitarist, a funky bass player and a solid energetic drummer. The band provide a complete TRULY live performance tailored to your audience. There are no backing tracks, DAT Tapes, or any other kind of recorded drums, bass or vocals which many other band/groups rely on for their (semi live) sound. We keep it live 100% of the time!

The band is used to playing all types of pubs, bars and clubs, each with their own individual clientele. From a bar full of rowdy students to the more relaxed atmosphere of Working Men’s Clubs. See the gigs page for a list of more regular venues Krisis play at.

One of the band’s favourite venues is The Stamford Arms, in Groby (Leicestershire). The venue has seen Krisis develop throughout their time together and the band’s reputation is reflected in the constant packed turnout of punters at every performance. The owners have kindly agreed for Krisis to give their details as a reference for other venues considering booking the band. Call The Stamford on 0116 2875616 and ask for either Kay or Collin

Lighting System

Krisis own a large scale computerised lighting system capable of wowing audiences in large events. Unfortunately, most public environments the band performs at are unsuitable for such equipment, from a power consumption and heat convection point of view. However the band has tailored their equipment to enable small scale effective lights to be setup, and create a good atmosphere for the band to perform in. This can include small sound to light units, large flood lights, and where possible  360 intelligent moving heads. The band will decide on a suitable setup based on the time and space available. Fine haze may also be produced to embrace the moving sequences of lights, this has become increasingly important since the smoking ban has been introduced.

Photo system

With the increasing numbers of good quality camera phones, Krisis have invested in a custom system that allows the audience to forward their taken photos by Bluetooth to our receiver onstage. The photos are then published to the bands website (www.Krisis-Online.co.uk) and can be viewed and downloaded by your customers. This is a unique system that has gone down a storm with all our clients, pubs, parties and weddings alike.

Formal Information

All the bands equipment is fully PAT tested and approved.

Krisis have a £1,000,000 public liability policy.

Most of the bands equipment is designed to be run from 2 x 13amp plug sockets usually protected by a separate 30amp RCD. This enables Krisis to play in almost any venue, no matter how big or small.
