Krisis are a live cover band, with a warm and
outgoing lead singer, a competent lead guitarist, a funky bass player
and a solid energetic drummer. The band provide a complete TRULY live
performance tailored to your audience. There are no backing tracks,
DAT Tapes, or any other kind of recorded drums, bass or vocals which
many other band/groups rely on for their (semi live) sound. We keep
it live 100% of the time!
The band has performed at a
whole manner of events, from birthday parties and anniversaries,
right through to company Christmas celebrations and AGM’s.
Most of the functions Krisis has entertained at, have made use of
the full package the band has to offer. Covering the whole event’s
entertainment, from live music to the after show disco we’re
able to incorporate a unique, fantastic, multi purpose lightshow.

Sound System
Krisis own all of their PA system, and is it serviced and tested on
a regular basis to ensure its reliability. With a total power of
3.6Kw, the system is suitable for venues of up to 500 people. Should
the requirement arise for a larger setup, Krisis has a good working
relationship with a local hire company who can supply a system for
anything from 500 to 20,000 people. So whatever your requirements,
we’ve got it covered.
Lighting System
The lightshow adds that extra dimension to Krisis’s
performance, and keeps guests interested and involved. Whether
their up on the dance floor or enjoying the music from the comfort
of their seats, the band has mixed modern computer controlled
lighting devices, with classic 90’s disco effects to bring an
interesting mix of stage settings for both the band, disco and
venue. Please browse the photos below to get a feel for some of
moods the lighting can create.
The Disco
The disco can be scheduled for any time during the night, and also
fills the gaps while Krisis take a short break. A good collection
of pre sequenced CDs, and individual tracks of classic and modern
songs are brought to the event. The lighting rig mentioned above is
switched to disco mood where all the effects and lighting move off
the stage and out to the dance floor to create a great atmosphere
for those enjoying the music.
Website Photo System
With the increasing numbers of good quality camera phones, Krisis
have invested in a custom system that allows all of your guests to
forward their taken photos by Bluetooth to our receiver onstage.
The photos are then published on the bands website
(www.Krisis-Online.co.uk) and can be viewed and downloaded by your
guests. A full copy of all the photos can also be emailed / posted
to the organisers should they request them. This is a unique system
that has gone down a storm with all our clients, pubs, parties and
weddings alike.

FAQ
|
|
What
venues are best for a band?
Village halls are an all time favourite for a host of events. They usually
offer a large stage for the band to rig their equipment and light
show on, a bar for all your beverages requirements and a kitchen to
satisfy the catering. Marquees are another good venue for functions
with bands, but there are the obvious power requirements, and
nuisance noise rules to consider. Krisis have played professionally
rigged outdoor events in the past, but the band will only consider
this option if sufficient power, weather and sound issues are
suitably addressed and the band deem the stage safe to perform on.
Whatever the venue, remember the
band will always come across their best when performing on a raised
platform / stage, and careful planning of guest numbers compared to
room size, always helps the atmosphere of the
event…don’t book a venue too big for the amount of
people attending!
What time should be
allowed for the band to set up before guests start arriving?
Depending on the quantity of
equipment required, and the size of the area available for us to
rig the light show, the band can take up to 2 hours to setup, test
and adjust the show to the particular venue. Usually the initial
sound check can be done within the first hour, and rigging of the
lightshow can be done while guests start to arrive (dependant on
access from the bands vehicles to the stage. It is not desirable to
have the band and guests sharing the same entrance in this instance).
Time and details can be finalised when booking.
How long will Krisis be
playing for?
The band usually performs 2 x 45 minute sets, but the second set
usually runs longer with encores, to about an hour. If booked with
the disco, we will entertain during the times between and after,
depending on how the organisers schedule the event.
Any other questions?
Contact the band on the contact form and a member of the band will
be happy to assist you with any further questions you may have.

Formal Information
|
|
All the band’s equipment
is fully PAT tested and approved. Yes all venues require bands
performing in their premises to be tested.
Krisis have a £1,000,000 public liability policy. Again, this is a
venue requirement for any kind of performance on their premises.
The band’s extensive list of equipment is designed to be run
from 3 x 13amp plug sockets (3 of your standards sockets at home),
usually protected by a separate 30amp RCD. This enables Krisis to
play in almost any venue, no matter how big or small.
